Overview
Background: ASCo Group Limited is a well established Logistics services business, situated in Aberdeen, supporting the Oil Industry in the North Sea area. In June 1999 the business acquired L & L Oil, based in Louisiana USA, as a first step in expanding its business internationally. This company is well placed to become a significant supplier of logistics services to the Gulf of Mexico oilfields.
ICG provided a mezzanine loan for acquisition finance to support 3i.
